Why I Built a Portfolio Site That Doesn't Feel AI-Made

Oct 25, 2026 4 min read

You can tell when a website was made by a prompt. Same hero, same three features, same words — delve, elevate, seamless — and a row of testimonials from people who never existed. It looks finished for about ten seconds, until you notice nothing in it was actually decided by anyone. I built YASH Portfolio to be the opposite of that.

YASH Portfolio is a complete premium portfolio site, and it is now listed in the Yug Store. It has a real-time 3D hero, an AI chat widget, a working contact form, and real client login. None of that is a screenshot or a mockup. Click the demo and all of it works, because it was built and tested piece by piece, not generated in one go.

AI-made is fast. It also looks fast.

The problem with AI-built sites is not that they are ugly. It is that they are all the same kind of pretty, and they lie without meaning to: invented clients, invented results, reviews nobody wrote. A visitor might not name what feels wrong, but they feel it — the site reads like it was made for no one in particular. So this site does the opposite on purpose: its four demo projects are labelled CONCEPT, openly. No fake clients, no fake numbers. Honesty is part of the design, not a footnote.

What ready-made means here

Ready-made does not mean a template you install yourself and then struggle with. You bring your content — brand, about, services, projects, contact details — and the setup is handled: hosting, login, email form. Your site goes live in 24–48 hours after your content arrives. That is the whole idea of the Yug Store: finished work, set up for you.

  • A 3D molecule hero that responds to the pointer, with a still fallback when 3D can't run.
  • A chat widget that answers from the site's own content, and never pretends otherwise.
  • A contact form that only claims delivery after the server confirms it.
  • Real email-and-password login, so the client area is functional, not a decoration.
A website should feel like someone made it on purpose — not like it was generated to fill a screen.

For launch week, the Basic package is ₹7,999 instead of ₹9,999, for new buyers only. Standard is ₹14,999 and Premium is ₹24,999. It is all listed in the Yug Store, with a live demo you can open right now. If it feels like a person made it, that is because one did.

Why Every Small Business Needs a Website in 2026

Picture this. Someone new moves into your area. They need a haircut, a birthday cake, a gym. What do they do first? They don't walk down the street looking at boards. They open Google and type "best salon near me." If your business isn't in that list, for that customer, you don't exist.

How Much Does a Website Cost? An Honest Breakdown

"How much will a website cost me?" is the first question almost everyone asks me, and it's the one the internet answers worst. One site says ₹5,000. Another says ₹5 lakh. Both are technically telling the truth, which is another way of saying neither is helping you. So here's the breakdown I'd give a friend.
